Next up were local party heroes, Napalmpom. Two minutes into the first song, members of the band were accepting shots from audience members and Angus Young-ing across the stage platform. During the second song, there was an axe battle on the same platform, giving us, right out of the gate, the kind of thing most bands ramp up to for the encore. Napalmpom is the live equivalent of having dessert for dinner. A massive sound harkening to the golden days of Thin Lizzy, this is a band that is going to have fun whether you join them or not.
